As part of the BBC history of the world, Derbyshire museums are showing some of the county’s ten chosen objects. At Buxton we are currently displaying a collection of locks keys and many other things from a collection made by Randolph Douglas (Randini). This includes locks used by Houdini and other escapologists. Formerly displayed in Douglas’ “House of Wonders” in Castleton, Derbyshire.
